The authors guarantee that a manuscript represents their original contribution, that it had not been published before and that it is not considered to be published elsewhere. Sending the same manuscript to different magazines simultaneously represents the violation of the ethical standards, which excludes it from further consideration of its publishing in the magazine. The paper which had already elsewhere been published cannot be republished in the magazine "Pravo - teorija i praksa".
The authors take all responsibility for the whole content of the manuscript. The manuscript mustn`t contain either unfounded or illegal claims. It mustn`t violate other people`s rights too.
The authors are obliged to provide the manuscript includes all and only the names of the individuals making the authors` team and who have considerably contributed to the content of the manuscript. If the other persons have crucially been involved in the research process and the process of the preparation of the manuscript, their contribution should be cited in either footnotes or in a special note ( Thank-you note, Acknowledgements).
In a note, the authors must cite the name and code mark of the research project within which the paper has been made, as well as the full name of the financing institution. In the case if the paper under the same or similar title had been presented before at some meeting in the form of the oral announcement, the details about this should be cited at the same place.
The authors are required to fully and correctly cite the sources which greatly affected the content of the research and manuscript. The parts of the manuscript, including the text, equations, pictures or tables literally taken from other papers, have to be clearly marked by a special note, for example, by quotation marks with exactly marked place from where something was taken (the page number). If these parts are larger, they must be cited in a special paragraph.
Full references of all citations in the text (quotations) must be cited in a separate section (Literature or References) in an uniform way, according to a citing style used by the magazine. In the section of the Literature there are cited only the quoted sources, but not the other ones used when preparing the manuscript.
If the author reveals an important mistake in the paper after its publishing, he/she is obliged to immediately inform the editor in chief (or a publisher) about this, and to cooperate the paper to be either withdrawn or corrected.
The authors` responsibility is to cite in the manuscript whether they are in a financial or some other conflict of interest which can affect their results or the interpretation of the results.
By submitting the manuscripts, the authors take the responsibiliy of respecting the editorial policy of the magazine "Pravo - teorija i praksa".
