CONSIDERATION OF REINTRODUCTION OF THE DEATH PENALTY INTO CRIMINAL LEGISLATION
Abstract
THIS paper discusses the reconsideration of the issue of imposing the death penalty for the most serious crimes. There is given a survey and comparison of different social systems in which the death penalty still exists (USA), those in which it has been abolished (EU) to those countries where its re-establishment and introduction into criminal legislation is requested (Turkey). Through this research whose results will be presented, we will try to explain the different profile experts` attitude in our country regarding the death penalty and its generally preventive significance.
