Abstract

Concessions as a legal business comes from the medieval regalia. Modern understanding of the legal institution associated with the development of market economy in an era of capitalism. In an attempt to make profit in their natural resources and build infrastructure, many countries legally define and limit concept and object of concessions. In this regard, the Republic of Serbia, Law on Concessions established criteria and the disposition of state property. The present Law regulates the general question of concessions, while certain types of concession activities subject matter to special laws.
