Abstract

Touristic movement, in which millions of people are included today, supposes the existence of numerous organizational-technical conditions in order to satisfy the needs of the tourists, by which numerous relationships are set up between the tourists, as the carriers of the touristic circulation and the providers of the services, resulting in the obvious need for legal normalizations of these relationships.

Allotment Contract have evolved from the need of the touristic circulation in the business affairs between agencies and hotels, and it reflects all the characteristics of modern tourism, the roles and positions of tourist agencies and hotels in the touristic circulation, and in a great deal the economic characteristics of their businesses.

The Allotment Contract is a special form of longer business cooperation between touristic agencies and hotelkeepers and it represents a considerably higher level of business stability and safety for the touristic organizations, because it enables the planning of business activities for a longer period both for the agencies and for the hotelkeepers, and accordingly, it is highly suitable for mass tourism and became more common in the business practice.
