Abstract

Following the application of the Labour Law in practice, almost five years after it came into effect, the problem of the overtime work is more and more evident.

With the arrival of the large multinational companies into our country, the pressure was intensified on the application of the Labour Law, precisely in the segment of overtime work, salary calculation, income compensation.

We witness the often application of the „Silent Pressure“ method to the employees, where it is only important and where it is a great success for an employee to remain employed. Being more and more exhausted from the economy point of view and on the other side being less and less protected by the Law, the employees find themselves in weak negotiation positions when entering into an employment contract.
