EUROPEAN COMPANY
Keywords:
European company, national, supranational, setting up and responsibilityAbstract
In this paper, the author deals with the issue of European company, from the initial idea of its creation as a business entity of a joint-stock type with transnational and supranational features. This practically means that a European company should exist and operate on the territories of several countries and that its entire legal regulations are out of national legislatures, being applicable to all parts of the European company based in different countries of the European Union. As it turns out that it is not possible to create supranational legal regulations, the author further deals with the issue of demarcation of supranational and national by means of references and options. This paper expresses a due interest in setting up a European company, managing it and dissolving it.
