Abstract

Improving of corporate governance remains in the focus of countries around the world. Legislators, security regulators and stock exchanges share common goals of improving the availability and quality of information provided to investors and enhancing the function of boards in their over sight of companies. All of this indicates that corporate governance continues to be of paramount importance for improving investor’s confidence in the capital markets.
