GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISIS AND THE INCREASE OF UNEMPLOYMENT
Keywords:
global crisis, economic crisis, unemployment, recession, workers being dismissed from serviceAbstract
Global economic crisis has not appeared all of a sudden. It had been preceded by certain circumstances which, by their implications on a macroplan, increased the number of the unemployed, poor and hungry people in the world. At the same time, the collapse of global economies contributed to uncontrolled global insecurity, which certain analysts had shyly been announcing since the beginning of a new millenium and which came true by spreading the news that „the world has fallen into the deepest economic crisis since the Second World War and it finds itself in the clutches of recession”. The causes of the crisis and its manifestations are different from one country to another, but there is a common characteristic for all and it is a fact that they produce incalculable consequences and serious problems. Dark clouds appeared over the world economy, and they bring the workers being dismissed from service, unemployment and poverty which further lead to series of protests and strikes all over the world. The impact of the world economic crisis is expected in Serbia with the intensity which is very hard and ungrateful to predict.
